Mirkka Ruohonen

Mirkka Ruohonen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications for Raision kaupunki since April 2022. Prior to this role, Mirkka held various positions at Lahden kaupunki, including Communications Manager and Communications Director a.i., from January 2014 to April 2022. Mirkka's career also includes serving as Communications Officer at the City of Hyvinkää and the City of Kankaanpää, as well as freelance journalism across numerous publications from 2005 to 2012. Mirkka holds a Master of Fine Arts in Domestic Literature from the University of Turku and has completed further studies in communication management at the University of Helsinki and a Specialist Qualification in Marketing Communications from Markkinointi-instituutti.
