Jeffrey Simpson

Jeffrey Simpson is a Data Scientist at Raiz Invest since December 2021, previously serving as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at UNSW from July 2018 to December 2021, where independent research on large datasets from the GALAH survey was conducted. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Astronomer at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources from January 2015 to July 2018, with a focus on data processing and the development of a data pipeline for the GALAH Survey. Earlier, Jeffrey was an Astronomer at Macquarie University from November 2013 to January 2015. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2013. Throughout the career, Jeffrey produced high-quality research outputs, delivered presentations at numerous conferences, and co-authored scientific papers in high-impact journals.
