Gustavo F. Augusto has a diverse work experience starting as a Trainee at Itau-Unibanco in 2006 and progressing to Operations Coordinator before leaving in 2009. Gustavo then held roles at Competitiveness as Strategy Team Leader and Strategic Projects Manager, and Cluster Development as a Strategic Projects Manager. Gustavo transitioned to Alfa Consulting as a Senior Management Consultant before moving to LATAM Airlines as a Strategic Projects Manager and later as a Business Intelligence Manager. Subsequently, they served as Strategy and Business Intelligence Manager at AkzoNobel and Regional Market Manager LATAM at Sherwin-Williams. In 2017, they joined Confraria do Empreendedor as a Member while simultaneously founding Fresh & Co. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Intelligence, Analytics & S&OP at Raízen since May 2022. Throughout their career, Gustavo has been involved in strategic planning, business intelligence, market research, and project management.

Gustavo F. Augusto completed their Bachelor's degree in International Relations at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2005. Gustavo then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2006 and 2008, specializing in Business. In 2007, they obtained a specialization in Project Management from the same institution. In 2021, Gustavo furthered their education by attending the University of Michigan for a Data Analytics program. Additionally, they acquired a certification in Data Analytics for Managers from the University of Michigan in the same year. Prior to their higher education, they completed their high school education at Ontonagon Area High School in 2001.
