Shyam Ragupathy

Shyam Ragupathy has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shyam is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Elest private limited since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of the Electric Mobility Division at Rajesh Exports Ltd starting from February 2019. In this role, they were involved in the design and manufacturing of electric vehicles and lithium-ion batteries, as well as the installation of chargers and solar deployment for EV charging. Shyam also has experience as the Director of Strategy at Customized Energy Solutions from April 2016 to January 2019. Before that, they worked as the Deputy General Manager of Business Strategy at Indo National Ltd from March 2011 to March 2016, and at Sindya Resources Pte Ltd from July 2011 to August 2014. Shyam also has a background in management consulting, having worked as a Manager at KPMG Advisory from December 2002 to March 2011, and as a Consultant at Arthur Andersen from April 2001 to December 2002. Shyam began their career as a Sys Executive at Computer Point, Adyar in 1997 before moving on to Polaris Software Lab. At Polaris Software Lab, they held the position of a Manager from February 1998 to April 2001, where they were involved in designing and implementing various software architectures and enterprise applications.

Shyam Ragupathy completed their education in a chronological order. Shyam attended Madras Christian College from 1986 to 1991, where they pursued their Higher Secondary education. From 1991 to 1994, they studied at the University of Madras, earning a Bachelor's degree in Maths. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Madras from 1995 to 1997, focusing on Systems as their field of study.
