Nagayasu Kano

Nagayasu Kano currently serves as Vice General Manager at Rakuten Group, starting in February 2024, while also holding the position of Senior Manager at Rakuten since July 2022. Prior to these roles, Nagayasu worked as Group Manager and Application Security Architect at Avanade, and held multiple senior management positions at Rakuten from 2015 to 2022, focusing on IT security engineering and application security. Notable achievements include managing domestic and overseas security teams, establishing application security protocols, and leading assessments and penetration testing initiatives. Nagayasu began the career as a system engineer at Probizmo CO., LTD and later contributed to system infrastructure and security at NTT Data Intellilink.
