Omkiran S.

Omkiran S. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Omkiran started their career at Ittiam Systems as a Lead Engineer, where they worked on multimedia IP development and integration on embedded platforms. Omkiran then joined Saranyu Technologies as a Technical Architect, where they played a key role in building a multimedia backend system on cloud. Currently, Omkiran is working at Viki, Inc. as the Director of Engineering and CISO. Omkiran has contributed to scaling the company's reliability, performance, security, and features. Omkiran has also served as an Engineering Manager, where they focused on improving development practices, code base, and API development for new product features.

Omkiran S. completed their Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science at Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1998 to 2002. Omkiran then pursued a Masters degree in Digital Signal Processing at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2002 to 2004.
