Brendan Paull

Brendan Paull, MSc PMP, is an accomplished project management professional with extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and developing innovative project management practices. Currently serving as the Cross Project Management Group Manager at Rakuten since 2015, Brendan has successfully established the PMO for the Media Department, improved project management practices, and intervened in troubled projects. As the Founder and Chair of the Rakuten LGBT+ Network, Brendan significantly advanced LGBTQ+ recognition within the company, achieving numerous accolades, including six Work With Pride Gold recognitions. Brendan's previous roles include overseeing projects at Rakuten Kobo Japan and serving as a Senior Software Engineer/Project Manager at Rakuten Infoseek. With a strong educational background, including an MSc in Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London and a BEng in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Brendan combines technical expertise with leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
