Laurent Fiard

Laurent Fiard is a Senior Manager at Rakuten, responsible for the core “ID service” and internal system development within the Technology Platforms Division, with a focus on Customer Identity and Access Management for a platform serving 2 billion users since December 2013. Prior to Rakuten, Laurent worked as a Functional Analyst in Product Definition at Amadeus, where responsibilities included writing functional specifications and developing test plans, and earlier as a Project Engineer Consultant at BSB. Laurent holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from École polytechnique de Louvain and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Université catholique de Louvain. Additional education includes studies in Japanese Language and Literature at Lycee Carnot - Cannes Universite, along with foundational education in Mathematics and Latin.
