Fache David Bunch Msha

David Bunch, FACHE, MSHA has a solid background in healthcare executive leadership. David is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Raleigh General Hospital since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Healthcare Executive & Leadership Coach from September 2022 to April 2023. From April 2016 to August 2022, they held the position of President/CAO at Cumberland Medical Center. David also has experience as the Chief Executive Officer at Community Health Systems from January 2013 to April 2016 and at Health Management Associates from December 2008 to January 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at Community Health Systems as the Chief Executive Officer from November 2004 to December 2008, and as an Administrative Specialist from December 2002 to October 2004. Additionally, they served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Community Health Systems for a brief period in November and December 2003.

David Bunch, FACHE, MSHA, has a strong educational background in healthcare administration and management. David obtained their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management from Tennessee Wesleyan University. Additionally, Bunch holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Roane State Community College, which they completed in 1990.

In addition to their educational achievements, David Bunch also holds the prestigious title of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), which they obtained from the American College of Healthcare Executives in January 2007.
