Gloria Southerland has over 30 years of experience in human resources consulting and leadership roles. Gloria is currently serving as the Senior Director of Journey Design & Consulting at Rali, where they utilize their expertise to help clients design learning journeys that drive real behavioral change. Prior to Rali, Gloria founded and served as the principal of Human Resource Design, Inc. for 33 years. During their tenure, they customized employee training programs and HR solutions for businesses of all sizes and industries. Gloria also worked as an Internal HR Consultant at Flexel, Inc., where they played a key role in creating employee handbooks and communication materials during a merger. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Brigade Quartermasters, where they built the HR department from scratch. Gloria's experience spans various aspects of HR, including policy development, training program creation, and change management initiatives.
Gloria Southerland has an extensive education history. From 1981 to 1986, they attended the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, where they completed the Honors Program MBA and BBA degrees. Their field of study during this time was Human Resources and Organizational Communications. In 1983 and 1984, Gloria also attended the University of Maryland, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from there. Their field of study at the University of Maryland was Business and Fine Arts.
In addition to their formal education, Gloria Southerland obtained a Judgement Index Certification from the Judgement Index in Chattanooga, TN in January 2014.
