Siobhan Aluvalot has a varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as an Art Curator for Castro Art Capsule. In 2019, they began working as a Researcher for OtherPowers, where they identified cultural and political trends and tracked online disinformation for a Neural Network/Big Data Social Media Platform with a focus on Disinformation/Culture/DEI. In 2018, they began working as an Event Producer/DJ for Mission Bowling Club, where they produced a monthly queer bowling event with DJs and drag performers that benefitted local non-profits that serve the LGBT community. From 2015 to 2017, they were self-employed as a multi-media creative consultant and researcher, specializing in research sourcing, video editing, and multi-media. In 2022, they began working as a Research Recruiting for Rally, where they sourced and recruited specialized participants for Rally.io UX product research studies. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Booking Manager for The Stud Collective and as an Entertainer for SOME SERIOUS BUSINESS INC.
Siobhan Aluvalot obtained their Movement Ritual Teaching Certificate from Anna Halprin between 2006 and 2012. Siobhan has also obtained four additional certifications from LinkedIn in 2021, including Advance Your Skills as a User Experience Researcher, Design Thinking: Understanding the Process, UX Foundations: Research, and UX Research Methods: Card Sorting.
