Paul Horn

Paul Horn is Senior Vice President and Chief Mining Development Officer, beginning this role in September 2022. He brings to Ramaco almost 30 years of experience as one of the most senior mining executives in the Central Appalachian region. Prior to joining Ramaco, he served for over 20 years for the privately held Booth Energy Group, including 10 of those as the President and Chief Operating Officer. In those roles he oversaw numerous large-scale underground and surface mining complexes in both Kentucky and West Virginia. He began his career in operations at Alliance Coal and has also served as the past Chairman of the Kentucky Coal Association. Mr. Horn holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
