Rachel Sawyer-Walker, Ed.M., has a diverse range of work experience in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Rachel currently serves as the Associate Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Compliance at Ramapo College of New Jersey, where they facilitate diverse and inclusive programs and provides training on diversity and inclusion. Prior to this role, Rachel held various positions at Drew University, including Associate Director of Student Engagement, Community Coordinator for Ethnic and Racial Heritage Launch Identity Affinity Community, and Coordinator for Residential Engagement and Diversity Programming. In these roles, they managed budgets, created and implemented diversity programs, and provided support and mentorship to students. Rachel also worked at Rutgers University, where they served as a Students in Transition Instructor and a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting research on diversity and inclusion in education. In addition, they have experience as a Hall Director at The School of American Ballet, an intern at the Paul Robeson Cultural Center at Rutgers University, and a Residence Hall Director at Saint Bonaventure University. Rachel has a strong background in creating inclusive programming, mentoring students, and advocating for equity and social justice.

Rachel Sawyer-Walker, Ed.M. completed their Master's degree in College Student Affairs at Rutgers University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Eastern Connecticut State University from 2012 to 2016, where they focused on Communication and Media Studies. Rachel also graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 2012.
