Neeraj Paliwal

Neeraj Paliwal is a business executive and entrepreneur who has over two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. Neeraj is currently the Vice President and General Manager of Rambus Security, a division of Rambus Inc. that specializes in security solutions for the semiconductor industry.

Paliwal began their career in the industry as a design engineer at Intel Corporation in 1999. Neeraj quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a senior design engineer and then a senior engineering manager for design methodology at IBM from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they joined NXP Semiconductors as Vice President of Engineering for their Identification division.

Under Paliwal's leadership, the Identification division grew to become a billion-dollar business. Neeraj led global engineering teams in the development of cryptography, RF/contactless technologies, secure element ICs, secure ASICs, NFC, global platform Java OS, and mobile system solutions. In 2015, they left NXP to start Kryptos Solutions Inc., a company that developed a military-grade secure mobile platform based on Android AOSP. Neeraj successfully sold the IP transfer of Kryptos to a customer in 2017 before leaving the company in 2018.

Paliwal joined Rambus Inc. in 2018 and currently leads the Rambus Security division as Vice President and General Manager. In this role, they are responsible for the development of security solutions for the semiconductor industry.

Neeraj Paliwal attended the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they studied business and leadership. Neeraj also holds a master's degree in solid state materials (physics) from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi.
