Douglas Jackman

Douglas Jackman currently serves as Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Ramirez Asset Management, a role assumed following the acquisition of Thomas White International (TWI) in July 2023, where Douglas held the position of President & Portfolio Manager for over 28 years. TWI, a boutique asset management firm specializing in Global, International, and Emerging Market Equities, was minority-owned following a buyout by long-term employees in 2018. Additionally, Douglas served as President of Thomas White Mutual Funds from November 2018 to December 2022 and was a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors at CFA Society Chicago from 2014 to 2018. Early in the career, Douglas gained experience as an Associate at Morgan Stanley Inc. Douglas holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago.
