Kyle Hoffman

Kyle Hoffman has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Kyle is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Ramp since 2023. Previously, they served as a DevOps Lead and DevOps Engineer at Orderin from 2021 to 2022. In these roles, they managed and maintained all AWS infrastructure needs and provided architectural input to ensure alignment with software design patterns. Before that, Kyle worked as a Software Engineer at 1-grid from 2020 to 2021, and as a Junior Web Developer at Lima Bean from 2019 to 2020. Kyle also gained experience as a Teacher Assistant at Stellenbosch University from 2019 to 2019, where their responsibilities included marking tests and assignments and assisting with tutorial preparation.

Kyle pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from Stellenbosch University, which they obtained between the years 2013 and 2016. Following this, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Geotechnical Engineering also at Stellenbosch University from 2017 to 2018. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University between 2018 and 2019. In addition to their formal education, Kyle obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022.
