Michael Hemphill

Michael Hemphill has an extensive background in marketing, development, and journalism. Michael has worked in various roles such as Director of Marketing and the Annual Fund at Roanoke Catholic School, Director of Development and Marketing at the Science Museum of Western Virginia, and Executive Director at Mountain Valley Charitable Foundation. Michael has also been involved in media as a Staff Writer at The Roanoke Times and as a Freelance Writer for Southern Living Magazine. Michael holds a B.A. in English from Birmingham-Southern College and an M.A. in Creative Writing from The University of Southern Mississippi. Currently, Michael serves as the Creator & Host of BUZZ on Blue Ridge PBS, as well as a Marketing Specialist at Regional Accelerator and Mentoring Program.
