Kate Dash

Kate Dash has an extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Kate currently serves as the Director of Finance, Support at Ramsay Health Care since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Accountant in the Newcastle Region at Ramsay Health Care from May 2020 to July 2022. Before joining Ramsay Health Care, Kate held the role of Senior Accountant, Accounting Standards and Taxation at Newcastle Permanent Building Society from July 2018 to May 2020. Kate also worked as an Accounting and Tax Adviser at Prosperity Advisers Group from January 2017 to July 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as a Financial Accountant at FIS from December 2015 to December 2016, and at SunGard Financial Systems from December 2011 to November 2015. Kate was a Senior Accountant at Crowe Horwath Australia (formerly WHK) from July 2009 to September 2011. Additionally, they have experience as a Board Member at Chinchilla Community Commerce & Industry from 2010 to 2011. Kate started their career as a Management Accountant at CS Energy in 2009 and as a Senior Accountant at BDO (formerly PKF) in 2008.

Kate Dash completed their Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Newcastle in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance from the same university in 2017. Kate also holds a Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards from ICAEW (2014) and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (2010). Kate Dash's undergraduate degree is a BCom in Commerce from The University of Queensland, earned in 2006. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Accreditation as a Standard Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid Australia in February 2023.
