James Walbom

James Walbom is the current Vice President of Finance and Operations at Rancher Labs. James has held this position since January 2020. Prior to joining Rancher, Walbom served as the Chief Financial Officer at Tiempo Development from 2012 to 2019. James also held the position of Managing Director at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) from 2009 to 2013. Walbom has been a member of the National Board of Directors at Financial Executives International (FEI) since June 2019.

James Walbom has an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BS in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.

They are on a team with Valeria Manchester - VP Sales Operations, Jamie Dudley - VP of Sales, Americas, and Dave Getzler - VP, Customer Success. James Walbom reports to Sheng Liang, Co-Founder and CEO.
