Ben Ernest has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of life sciences. Ben started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee in 2011, where they worked until 2016. Following this, they joined the National Institutes of Health as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2016 to 2017. Afterwards, Ben transitioned to Digicon Corporation as a Bioinformatics Specialist, where they were employed from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Scientist at Rancho BioSciences, starting in 2019.
Ben Ernest earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a concentration in Genome Science and Technology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2009 to 2016.
