Rafael García Escarré has extensive work experience as a co-founder, CEO, and senior business advisor in various companies. In 2020, they co-founded FARSIDE VENTURES S.L. and also co-founded The Data Venture and 5G Ventures. In 2019, they co-founded and served as the CEO of 101 Ventures, a global venture capital fund. In 2021, they co-founded Mintknight, GUZZU, FrontWave Imaging, Rand Network, and Let's Coder, where they held the role of senior business advisor. Rafael'sroles involved strategic decision-making, board membership, and advising on various aspects of business operations in industries such as digital media, fintech, blockchain, and web development.
Rafael García Escarré has a diverse education history with a focus on entrepreneurship and business administration. Rafael began their education in 1991, studying Electric and Electronics Communications at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. After completing their undergraduate degree in 1995, they pursued further education in the field of business. In 2006, Rafael attended IMD where they completed a program in Strategic Innovation. Two years later, in 2008, they earned an Executive Education certificate from Esade, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at the Universitat Ramon Llull in 2010 and dedicated six years to earning a Philosophy Doctor (PhD) degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Lastly, in 2012, they attended the IESE Business School for a year to gain expertise in Family Office and Business Angels within the field of Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
