Tim Schmidt

As co-managing principal of the Washington, DC metro location, Tim is responsible for the successful project delivery for rand’s clients and the strategic growth of the office. With over 20 years of diverse construction experience in the greater DC market, Tim is a proponent of highly collaborative partnerships with clients, team members, and providers, and is known for his passion of finding unique and creative solutions for any challenge.

Before moving into the role of co-managing principal, Tim managed many of rand’s most complex and challenging projects and has been a pivotal member of our tenant interiors project team responsible for dozens of craftsmanship awards.

Tim has extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry and holds LEED ID+C accreditation. He is active in several industry organizations including NAIOP, DCBIA, and DC Real Estate Group.

A Maryland native, Tim enjoys spending time on the Chesapeake Bay with his family and holds a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
