Corneleo Keevy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Corneleo started their career as an Audit Trainee Accountant at Deloitte South Africa in 2005, where they gradually took on more responsibilities in managing audits. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Corporate Finance - Valuations at Deloitte, specializing in enterprise and equity valuations for listed entities.

In 2010, Corneleo joined Rand Merchant Bank as a Corporate Credit Analyst, focusing on credit due diligence for mining clients and global commodity traders. Corneleo worked in this role until 2020. During their time at RMB, Corneleo also had experience in credit analysis and portfolio management, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

In 2014, Corneleo moved to Ashburton Investments, where they held several roles. Corneleo started as a Credit Analyst, conducting fundamental credit analysis for various portfolios. Corneleo then became the Portfolio Manager for the Ashburton Renewable Energy Programme, responsible for managing the fund and presenting credit analysis to the investment committee. Later, Corneleo took on the role of Head of Credit Risk, overseeing the overall credit business within Ashburton, including private debt impact funds and portfolios.

Currently, Corneleo Keevy is working at RMB as the Head ESG Risk, starting in 2023. Corneleo is also serving as the Credit Executive Sponsor, a role they began in 2021, focused on credit initiatives within the bank.

Corneleo Keevy completed their education at Stellenbosch University from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they obtained an Honors degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to university, they completed Grade 12 at Merensky High School in Tzaneen from 1997 to 1999.
