Jessica Lewis

Jessica Lewis is a seasoned legal professional specializing in banking and finance, currently serving as a Treasury and Trade Solutions Legal Advisor at RMB - Rand Merchant Bank since August 2024. Prior to this role, Jessica held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Absa Group from November 2019 to August 2024 and worked as an Associate (Banking and Finance) at Hogan Lovells between January 2019 and October 2019. Jessica’s experience includes consulting for Jessica Lewis Consulting, and serving as a Consultant (Legal Coordinator) at Chevron in 2018, as well as multiple roles at Norton Rose Fulbright where advice was provided on cross-border structured trade finance transactions across various African countries. Educational qualifications include an LLM in International Trade Law from the University of Cape Town, a Certificate in International Trade and Finance from LIBF, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Western Cape.
