Debb McRoberts has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Debb started their career in 1988 as the founder and president of Uwharrie Family Health Care, where they provided comprehensive care in a medically underserved area and precepted medical students. In 2007, they worked as a hospitalist at Haywood Regional Medical Center and also joined Quantum Health Group, PA as a physician, providing inpatient care and assisting with management duties. In 2013, they became the Chief of Medicine at Randolph Hospital, where they reviewed and approved credentials for physicians, attended executive committee meetings, and advised the Chief of Staff and administration on matters related to the medical staff.
Debb McRoberts attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine from 1981 to 1985, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a specialization in Medicine. During the same period, they also pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from The University of Southern Mississippi.
