David Lohnes

David Lohnes has had a varied career path. Starting in 2008, they were an Upper School Teacher at Southside Christian School. In 2010, they became the Owner of Renaissance Language Instruction LLC. From 2012 to 2015, they were a SharePoint Consultant at Fusion Managed IT, a SharePoint Architect at AGT International, and a Solution Architect at Takamol Holding. In 2015, they began working as an Architect at Delegata, and in 2018, they were an Information Security Architect at CSC, a Tech Lead at the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, and a Director of Policy and Practice Group, Information Security Architect at the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Information Security Practice Director at Random Bit LLC.

David Lohnes has an extensive education history. David received a Ph.D.- ABD in Renaissance and Medieval Literature from the University of South Carolina between 2003 and 2012, and a MA and BA in English from Bob Jones University between 1996 and 2001. David also holds certifications from various institutions, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² obtained in February 2022, the SABSA Foundation SCF from The SABSA Institute obtained in August 2018, the MCTS: SharePoint 2010 Configuration from Microsoft obtained in August 2012, the Assessment in Medieval Latin: Level One from the University of Toronto: Centre for Medieval Studies obtained in May 2006, and the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from DAMA-I obtained in September 2019.
