Rajesh Sharma, Ph.D., has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of antibody engineering and downstream process development. Starting in 2006, Rajesh worked as a Research Fellow at Reliance Life Sciences, where they were involved in downstream process development, protein characterization, and scaling up processes from lab to manufacturing scale. Rajesh then transitioned to the role of Research Scientist at the same company, focusing on downstream process optimization for therapeutic proteins.
In 2011, Rajesh joined NUI Galway as a PHD Researcher, where they concentrated on the development and engineering of recombinant antibody fragments using phage display technology for cancer detection. Rajesh also worked on media and process optimization, as well as solid and liquid phase biopanning for antibody fragment isolation and enrichment.
Most recently, Rajesh is working as the Team Leader for Antibody Display and Engineering at Randox. The start date for this role is in 2020, and the specific responsibilities and achievements in this position are not provided.
Rajesh Sharma, Ph.D., has a solid educational background in the field of biomedical engineering and science. Rajesh obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the National Center for Biomedical Engineering and Science, National University of Ireland, Galway, completing their studies from 2011 to 2016. Prior to their Ph.D., Rajesh attained a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Rajesh initially pursued their higher education at the University of Rajasthan, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Science in 2004.
