Thomas Cotton

Thomas Cotton has worked in the finance and lending industry since 1982. Thomas began their career as a Loan Officer for Production Credit Association in 1982, where they were responsible for building the agricultural loan portfolio and developing customer relationships. In 1984, they joined Norwest (now Wells Fargo) as a VP Ag Lending, eventually becoming a VP/Sr Lender of Ag and Commercial Lending. During their tenure at Norwest, they grew the loan portfolio by over $3MM within the first 18 months. In 1991, they moved to Community First Bank (now Bank of the West) as VP Commercial/Ag Lending, where they were responsible for the management and growth of the Ag and Commercial loan portfolio. In 1994, they became Chairman/CFO and C.E.O. of Spectrum Marketing Services, and also served as Chief Financial Officer of Range Printing.

Thomas Cotton attended Hillsboro High School from 1975 to 1978, where they received their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Thomas then went on to North Dakota State University from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics.
