Clare Kirk has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Clare began their career as an Independent Training Consultant at Superdrug in 1993. Clare then joined Vodafone UK as a Training Officer in 1994 and later transitioned to the role of Learning Development Consultant. In 2004, Clare moved to Sovereign Housing Association as the Group Learning & Development Manager until 2011. During their time there, they also served as a Leadership & Management Development Consultant and an Organisational Development Consultant. In 2016, they founded their own company, Clare Kirk Consulting Ltd, where they work as a Coach, Consultant, and Facilitator. Clare is currently the Head of Talent & Capability Development at The Rank Group plc since 2022. Clare has proven experience in talent management, leadership development, and organizational improvement.

Clare Kirk has a diverse education history in the field of coaching and organizational development. In 2010 to 2011, they attended Roffey Park Institute, where they obtained a Certificate in OD Practice, focusing on organizational development. Following this, in 2012, Clare attended Kornferry, where they obtained Emotional Intelligence 360 Accreditation, specializing in emotional intelligence feedback. In 2014, they pursued further education at AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching, earning a Diploma in Executive Coaching, emphasizing coaching skills. In 2019, Clare attended the MBTI Business Training Institute, obtaining a degree as an MBTI Practitioner, which focuses on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Most recently, in 2020, they completed a Certificate in Systemic Team Coaching at the AoEC.
