Shoumik Barua

Shoumik Barua has worked at Rankmylist Inc. since 2016, starting as Lead Developer for Web Applications UX/UI. Shoumik then moved to Senior Web & Mobile Applications Developer - Integration, where they were responsible for planning additional features, improving user experience, implementing touch supports for sorting items, backend development, optimizing queries, and adding a Create bracket feature. Shoumik also integrated GDPR rules for www.rankmylist.com. Prior to this, Shoumik worked as a Web and Mobile application Developer, where they were a full stack web developer and one of the first three employees of the startup. Shoumik was responsible for creating primary features, login support using Google and Facebook, and scrapping images from different types of URLs. Before this, Shoumik completed an Internship at Teletalk Bangladesh Limited in 2014.

Shoumik Barua completed their SSC from Ispahani Public School & College between 1996 and 2008. Shoumik then completed their HSC from Notre Dame College between 2008 and 2010. Lastly, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology between 2011 and 2015.
