Katelyn Linney

Katelyn Linney is an experienced mathematics educator with a substantial background in academic instruction and sports coaching. Currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher at Ranney School since September 2019, Katelyn designs engaging lesson plans for various math courses and collaborates with colleagues to support a seamless educational experience for students in grades 6 to 10. Previous experience includes teaching High School Mathematics at Saint John Vianney High School and serving as Head Girls Basketball Coach for UAA Team Rio AAU Girls Basketball, where Katelyn focused on player development and facilitating college opportunities. Additionally, Katelyn has held multiple roles at Fordham University, contributing to women's basketball operations and coaching while pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration. Katelyn's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fairfield University, complemented by strong leadership and organizational skills demonstrated throughout various roles in education and athletics.
