George Bertram

Program Manager at Ranpak

George Bertram has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. George currently works as a Program Manager at Ranpak, a position they have held since December 2021. Previously, George served as an Elected Member of the Board of Selectmen at the Town of Southbury, CT from December 2015 to December 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, George was the President of Team Six, Inc., a group of highly capable engineers specializing in product development and systems engineering. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Engineering at Pregis IntelliPack Corp. from February 2010 to June 2015.

George's career began in 2002 as the VP Engineering and co-founder of IntelliPack Corp. This venture was greatly successful and was ultimately acquired by Pregis Corp. in 2010. George played a key role in the development of leading-edge products, leading to double-digit growth for IntelliPack as a division of Pregis Corp.

Before their time at IntelliPack Corp., George worked at Sealed Air Corporation as the Director of R&D from 1975 to 2001.

George Bertram received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1970 to 1974. George later pursued further education at the University of Connecticut School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, from 1980 to 1982.
