Robert Depriest

Robert DePriest has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Beginning in 1991, they worked as a Reactor Engineer for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, overseeing nuclear power facilities and providing coordination and support for inspection staff. In 1997, they joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where they held various roles including Special Agent, Crisis Manager, Active Shooter Program Coordinator, Special Operations Team Lead, Hazardous Evidence Response Team Lead, and Special Agent/Principal Firearms/Tactical Instructor. In 2018, DePriest transitioned to the private sector, serving as the President of Morro Risk Management and later as the Senior Director of Security at Pine Crest School. Robert is currently the Director of Security at Ransom Everglades School.

Robert DePriest obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Catholic University of America between 1986 and 1991. Robert also holds several certifications including Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Instructor from Texas State University (obtained in 2016), FBI Tactical Instructor from the FBI Practical Application Unit (obtained in 2005), FBI Firearms Instructor from the FBI Firearms Training Unit (obtained in 2004), and Special Weapons and Tactics Operator from the FBI Swat Operations Unit (obtained in 2002).
