Gidon Elrom has extensive work experience in various IT management roles. Gidon is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Rapac Group since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Megureit Israel as a CIO (Freelance) where they designed a unique software system model for Renta apartments business activity.
From 2011 to 2017, Elrom was the C.I.O at Minrav | Yielding Properties, where they were responsible for upgrading the computing infrastructure, implementing ERP systems, and introducing information security systems, among other duties.
Before that, they worked as a Business Application Manager at Electra Israel, where they managed an ERP project across the group. Gidon also held the position of IT Project Manager at Etco Nigeria Ltd, where they oversaw the assimilation of the SBO system into a subsidiary of Electra in West Africa, including planning the computer and communications infrastructure.
In the early stages of their career, Elrom served as the ERP and Business Application Manager at Advanced Solutions Road Systems Ltd, where they were involved in consulting, development, and implementation of various systems and solutions. Gidon also worked as a Senior Manager at ANC, specializing in the integration of communications and ASP systems.
Elrom started their career in the Israel Defense Forces, where they held various positions, including Head of Budgets of Weapons Division and Head of the Budgets Section of the Air Force. In these roles, they managed development budgets and procurement of weapon systems, as well as participated in meetings with foreign partners.
Throughout their career, Elrom has demonstrated expertise in planning, implementing, and managing IT projects, as well as improving computing infrastructure and driving innovation in organizations.
Gidon Elrom גדעון אלרום pursued their education at Tel Aviv University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Managerial Economics. Gidon then went on to attend the Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Marketing.
