Wade Pavlicek

Wade Pavlicek is currently the CFO at RAPID CITY Y M C A. Wade was previously the controller at Midstates Inc. from February 2011 to July 2018. In their previous role, they oversaw and reported company-wide departmental operational budgets, capital expenditures, vendor pricing reviews, cost ratios analysis, and other financial controls geared to enhance company financial performance. Wade also established working budgets with contingencies and revenue-driven revision triggers to keep the company on pace to reach annual profit goals.

Pavlicek has experience in turnover management of supplies and materials, as well as documented price reviews. Wade has also worked with the General Manager and HR Director to effectively manage labor and benefit costs in all departments. Pavlicek has managed customer credit to minimize risk while supporting the sales team in qualifying reasonable credit terms for new and existing customers. In addition, they have overseen customer billing to enhance timeliness, accuracy, and thoroughness of all billing.

Pavlicek has a strong background in protecting against unnecessary expenses, seeking out revenue opportunities, looking for better opportunities, and working to create a culture of putting “smart-controls” in place at all levels of the company. This experience will be invaluable in their current role as CFO at RAPID CITY Y M C A.

After completing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern State University, Wade Pavlicek pursued an MBA from the University of Mary. Wade also has certifications from Dale Carnegie Training in Performance Reviews That Motivate and Dream Big Focus Small: Achieve Smarter Goals.

They work with Alisa Cunningham - Youth Development Director, Emily Pitz - Communications Director, and Matt Miles - Facilities Director. Wade Pavlicek reports to Keiz Larson, CEO.
