Evangelos Vassalos

Evangelos Vassalos is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Controller at Rapid Finance since December 2020, Vassalos previously held the position of Group Financial Controller at both BlackIvy Group and OneWeb, Ltd. Notably, Vassalos has extensive experience overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions, having managed significant portfolios and financial operations in earlier roles at American Capital, XM Satellite Radio, and The AES Corporation. Vassalos started a career in finance at Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Auditor. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting and Taxation, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Finance & MIS) from the University of Virginia, along with studies at Athens University of Economics and Business.
