Matan Gedulter

Matan Gedulter is the VP of R&D and Engineering at Rapid Medical. Matan has over three years of experience in the medical field, specifically in cardiology and mitral valve repair.

Gedulter began their career as an R&D Project Manager at Valcare Medical in November 2013. In this role, they were responsible for developing a system for percutaneous delivery, positioning, and attachment of annuloplasty ring, a mitral valve implant. Matan was also responsible for leading multiple pre-clinical testing and cadaver testing, as well as training and proctoring cardiologists and heart surgeons in pre-clinical and clinical procedures.

In August 2016, Gedulter left Valcare Medical to join Rapid Medical as the VP of R&D and Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company’s R&D efforts and overseeing the engineering team. Matan has also been instrumental in developing new IP to protect the company’s innovative developments.

Matan Gedulter's educational career includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in the field of Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, Gedulter holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Matan Gedulter works with James Romero - President, Americas, Nadiejda Feinstein - VP of Manufacturing and Operations, and Walid Haddad - Chief Clinical Officer. Their manager is Ronen Eckhouse, CEO and co-founder.
