Carlos Alba's work experience begins in 2011, starting with a role as a Research and Development Tech (R&D) at Rapid Micro Biosystems. This position has continued until the present time. Prior to that, in August 2011, they worked as an E/M Assembler Tech at Satcon Technology Corporation for a month. Earlier in the year, from January to July 2011, Carlos held the same role at TMC.

Carlos Alba attended Greater Lawrence Vocational High School from 1974 to 1978. carlos obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Machine Shop. Additionally, they also studied Machine Tool Technology/Machinist during their time at the school.
