Jo Voordeckers

Jo Voordeckers has a long and varied work experience. In 2008, they founded Pursuit Consulting. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Senior J2EE Consultant for both Honda Motor Europe Ltd and Sword Technologies BeLux&Greece. During this time, they were also a Program Committee and Steering member for Devoxx Conference. Additionally, from 2011 to 2014, they were a Java, web and mobile developer for Devoxx and Parleys.com. In 2014, they became a Staff Engineer - Senior Software Engineer at Livefyre. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Computer Scientist at Adobe and then as a Senior Software Engineer at Apple. In 2020, they became the Director of Platform Engineering at Rapid Robotics, Inc.

Jo Voordeckers obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science from University College Ghent in 2003. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Computer Architecture from the EIT Digital Master School. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University through Coursera Course Certificates.
