Arhan Yaqub

Arhan Yaqub has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and leadership roles. Arhan is currently working as the GM & Director of ASIC Development at Rapid Silicon, where they lead engineering design teams for re-programmable chip solutions. Arhan is also responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to a global engineering team. Prior to this, Arhan served as the GM & Director of ASIC Verification at Rapid Silicon, where they led design and verification teams for re-programmable chip solutions and managed a multi-disciplinary team of 80+ engineers.

Before joining Rapid Silicon, Arhan worked as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Lampró Méllon from April 2021 to December 2021. Arhan also gained valuable experience at Renesas Electronics as a Sr. Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer (Lidar sensors) from January 2019 to April 2021, and at NXP Semiconductors as a Sr. R&D Design Verification Engineer (ASICs) from June 2017 to December 2018.

Arhan's earlier career includes roles as a Digital Design and Verification Engineer at Dialog Semiconductor from August 2011 to May 2017. Arhan also worked as a Research Engineer at Technische Universität München, where they focused on dynamic aspects of robots and tasks. Additionally, Arhan started their career as a Lecturer at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, where they taught various courses.

Arhan Yaqub pursued their education from various institutions over the years. Arhan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Communication Electronics from the Technical University of Munich from 2008 to 2010.

In terms of further education, Arhan Yaqub participated in multiple executive programs. From 2019 to 2022, they enrolled in an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at the Executive MBA HSG in Business Engineering conducted by the University of St. Gallen. During the same period, they also undertook an Executive MBA program at the TUM School of Management, specializing in IoT, Blockchain, and the role of AI in business development. Additionally, they pursued an EMBA in International Relations at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2019 to 2022.

Alongside their formal education, Arhan Yaqub has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills. Arhan completed the "Formal Analysis Advanced with IFV" certification from Cadence Design Systems in November 2015. In September 2013, they obtained the "SystemVerilog Advanced Verification Using UVM" certification from the same institution. Lastly, they earned the "SystemVerilog Assertions - SVA" certification in July 2012, also from Cadence Design Systems.
