Bobby McKeown

Bobby McKeown has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Bobby started their career at Friends First in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2001. Bobby then joined Trintech as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed the PayWare Resolve IS product. In 2003, Bobby briefly worked at Atlassian as a Software Engineer on the JIRA project. Bobby also worked at Allstate Northern Ireland as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed a web-based car insurance quotation system. In 2004, Bobby returned to Trintech as a Senior Software Engineer and continued their work on the PayWare Resolve IS product. In 2005, they worked at Lagan Technologies as a Software Engineer on a contract basis, developing a CRM system for local governments and councils. From 2005 to 2010, Bobby worked at AIB as a Lead Developer. In 2010, they joined CyberSource as a Development Manager/Staff Software Engineer. Finally, in 2015, Bobby joined Bitnet Technologies Ltd. as a Lead Customer Success Manager and then Rapid7 as a Senior Manager of Engineering. Bobby is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Rapid7 since October 2022.

Bobby McKeown's education history includes a Java Certification in 2007, where they obtained the degree of Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP). Between 1993 and 1997, they attended Ulster University and earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science. In 2008, Bobby pursued further Java Certification and became a Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD).

Additionally, Bobby has obtained various certifications, including a Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) in September 2014. Bobby is also a Certified Scrum Master, although specific details about this certification are not provided.
