Jeffery started their career as an Accounting Information Systems Intern at Pacific Crest Securities in 2008, where they analyzed and upgraded the company's balance sheet. Jeffery also facilitated daily operations, such as journal entries and commission calculations.

In 2008, Jeffery worked as a United States Liaison at City University of Hong Kong, coordinating correspondences and assisting with program orientations for new arrivals.
