Owen Stewart

Owen Stewart has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Owen started their career at Pfizer as a Junior Automation Developer, where they maintained automated manufacturing systems for pharmaceutical products. Owen then moved on to StreamOn.net Ltd., where they worked as a Software Developer on bespoke content management systems and custom-designed websites.

In 2008, Owen joined TotalMobile as a Software Developer, where they worked on the TotalView finance website and developed the TotalMobile WPF client. Owen was later promoted to Lead Software Developer, where they were responsible for iOS client development and prototyping new clients.

Owen joined GolfNow, a division of Golf Channel, in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer. Owen released the iOS and Android Member App, which is widely used by golfers in the UK and Ireland. Owen also took on the role of Lead Software Engineer, managing a team of C# developers and QA engineers and providing technical leadership on various projects.

Currently, Owen is working at Rapid7 as a Lead Software Engineer. Owen recently transitioned into the role of Software Engineering Manager, where they oversee the software engineering team's activities.

Owen Stewart attended Queen's University Belfast from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2009, they enrolled in Belfast Metropolitan College and completed a program to become a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in the following year.
