Rodney Romanchuk has over three decades of work experience in various sales and management roles. Rodney is currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Sales at Rapid7, where they lead the Enterprise Sales team for the western half of the US. Rodney joined Rapid7 in 2021 to help advance security through visibility, analytics, and automation.
Prior to their role at Rapid7, Rodney worked at Ivanti, initially joining the company in 2015 when it was known as HEAT Software. As the Director of Sales, Western Region, their main focus was on transitioning the inside sales team into an enterprise software organization that could drive net new logo acquisition. Rodney successfully increased net new logo acquisition from 11 to 48, finishing the year at 124% of plan. In 2020, they were promoted to Area Vice President - West, leading a team of 16 people covering the western third of North America.
Before Ivanti, Rodney gained experience at Gartner from 2007 to 2015 as an Area Manager. Rodney was responsible for turning around a consistent non-performing team and achieved over 100% of plan during 4 out of their 7 years there. Working closely with high-level IT executives from major companies, they provided advisory services to help them make informed technology decisions.
From 2002 to 2007, Rodney served as the Vice President/General Manager at Tri Net, where they opened six offices in California and grew the SaaS business from $0 to $23M in five years.
Rodney started their career at Xerox Business Services in 1991, initially as a Sales Manager before being promoted to General Manager. At Xerox, they turned around an underperforming organization, increasing revenue from $35M to $90M and doubling the employee count.
Rodney has also held roles at Logilent Learning Systems, where they were the Vice President of Sales, and Breakaway Solutions, where they served as the Director of Sales for the Western Region.
Rodney Romanchuk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rodney also pursued further education at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General.
