Chad Larsen

Chad Larsen has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a DevOps Engineer at RapidAI since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Nu Skin for several years, taking on various roles and responsibilities. From 2011 to 2022, they served as a Site Reliability Engineer (Embedded Application Development), where they collaborated with engineering teams to maintain and scale Nu Skin's production platform. Chad also worked closely with product teams to improve and refactor the platform into a cloud-based, DevOps-oriented one. Additionally, Chad served as an SRE Critical Incident Manager - Team Lead from 2020 to 2021, guiding a team of SREs in the development and implementation of an incident management and response process. Chad also led the improvement of root cause analysis completion rate from 30% to 100%, significantly enhancing incident metrics. Before that, from 2017 to 2020, Chad worked as a Functional Analyst, collaborating with stakeholders to build product requirement documents and coordinating with development teams for feature rollouts. Finally, they started their career at Nu Skin as a Regional Sales Manager from 2011 to 2017, where they directed an Account Manager team and led strategic initiatives.

Chad Larsen pursued their education at Utah Valley University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Management Information Systems, General. Additionally, they achieved the certification of PCEP-30-01 – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer from the Python Institute in August 2020.
