Cheryl Konarski

Cheryl Konarski, CPE RPL CMCP, serves as the Public Safety Communication Manager at Joplin Police Department since March 2019 and is also a RapidSOS ECC Advisory Council Representative from October 2021. With extensive involvement in APCO International, Cheryl holds multiple leadership roles, including Executive Council Representative for the Missouri Chapter, Chair of the Military Task Force, and Group Leader across various committees. Cheryl's career in emergency services began as Dispatch Supervisor at Dade County Emergency Services, and prior to that, served as Executive Secretary for San Bernardino County Sheriff/Coroner. Cheryl is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety at Ottawa University, building upon an impressive educational background in public safety and communication certifications.
