Jose A. M.

Jose A. M. has diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jose A. is currently a Member of the Technological Advisory Council at the Federal Communications Commission. Prior to this, they served as the Board Member & Chief Operating Officer at RapidSOS. Jose A. also founded and served as the General Partner at Merlin Mentor Capital. In addition, they held the position of Board Member at the University of Michigan.

Earlier in their career, Jose was the Head of Business Enablement and Transformation at Juniper Networks. Jose A. also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Medis Technologies Ltd. Jose's extensive experience includes a long tenure at Lucent Technologies, where they held the position of President of Worldwide Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Installation, and Margin Improvement.

Before Lucent Technologies, Jose held a leadership role at Nortel Networks/Bay Networks as the VP of External Manufacturing and Worldwide Supplier Management. Jose A. started their career at Ford Motor Company, where they had various roles including Director of Process Leadership Ford 2000 and Cross Corporate Global Business Effort.

Jose began their career at IBM, where they worked as a Communications Systems Product Planning Coordinator. Jose has a proven track record of driving organizational transformation, improving operational efficiency, and managing global operations.

Jose A. M. completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Finance from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, which they attended from 1987 to 1989. Jose A. also received an Honorary Doctorate in Operations and Logistics from Arizona State University in 2004. Prior to that, Jose earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1978 to 1982.
