Kenji Okada

Kenji Okada currently serves as Senior Research Manager for the Reliability team at Rapidus Corporation and also holds the title of Senior Manager at Rapidus US, starting in April 2023. Prior to this role, Kenji was the Director of Technology and Reliability in the Quality Assurance Group at Tower Partners Semiconductor Co., Ltd. from January 2020 to May 2025, following a company name change in July 2020. Kenji previously worked at TowerJazz Panasonic Semiconductor Co., Ltd. in the same capacity. Earlier experience includes a management role in Reliability Development and Technology at Panasonic, where reliability development for various advanced devices was conducted. Kenji began a research career at Millennium Research for Advanced Information Technology (MIRAI) focusing on the reliability of high-k/metal gate transistors, which contributed to the development of the 32 nm-rule CMOS process at Panasonic. Kenji holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from Osaka University.
