Miguel Angel Cervantes

Miguel Angel Cervantes is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as the Global Head of Software Architecture for Rappi Pay since February 2019 and previously holding roles as Technical Lead and CTO for Mexico, Miguel has a proven track record in shaping digital solutions. Miguel co-founded and served as CTO at Payit by Peimi, which was acquired by Rappi, and has also held positions as a mentor in business and technology at Collective Academy, as well as a professor at Universidad Panamericana specializing in mobile application development. From 2014 to 2017, Miguel co-founded and led Neurona Virtual as CEO, and prior to that, worked as a Senior Consultant at Genesys where significant contributions to CRM systems and IVR solutions were made. Education includes degrees in Information Technology Engineering and Operations Management from Universidad Panamericana, along with participation in Startup School Online in 2018.
