Jayapradeep Vasudevan

Jayapradeep Vasudevan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jayapradeep is currently the Chief Business Officer at Raptee, where they are responsible for growing the brand and establishing it as a premium player in the EV market in both India and international markets. Jayapradeep focuses on designing and delivering a premium customer experience and providing strategic support to the organizational development.

Prior to their current role, Jayapradeep worked at Royal Enfield in various leadership positions. As the Business Head - India + SAARC, they led a successful team of 250+ sales and marketing professionals, driving the motorcycles, accessories, and apparel business in India and SAARC. Jayapradeep also identified headroom markets and created geo-specific strategies to improve business and market share.

Jayapradeep also served as the National Business Head at Royal Enfield, where they were responsible for driving business and profitability across all streams, including motorcycles, aftersales, accessories, and apparel in South and East India. Jayapradeep led a team of 250+ direct employees and 300+ off-role employees, focusing on increasing market share and enhancing customer experience through 1000+ outlets.

In their earlier roles at Royal Enfield, Jayapradeep served as the Head of Sales Strategy & Dealer Development, where they contributed to the sales and network expansion of the company. Jayapradeep developed strategic business plans and identified key growth drivers. Jayapradeep also held the position of Zonal Head, achieving significant growth in the motorcycle business in Southern and Western India, and Regional Manager, where they successfully expanded the dealer network in Southern India states.

Before joining Royal Enfield, Jayapradeep worked at Hindustan Motors Ltd as a Regional Manager - Passenger Cars, where they focused on achieving budgeted car volumes in South India and setting business plans, among other responsibilities.

Jayapradeep began their career at TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited as a Territory Executive, where they achieved retail and wholesale targets and improved market share in the assigned territory.

Jayapradeep Vasudevan began their education journey in 1992 at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering until 1997. In 2007, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for a Young Business Leaders program, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Vasudevan pursued a Postgraduate Executive Program in Business Administration and Management at Great Lakes Institute of Management. Currently, in 2019, they are enrolled in the Leadership Advancement Program at the Indian School of Business, focusing on Strategy and Innovation.
